About Lemon Drops

Our bi-weekly FREE to attend infant feeding and support café and professional drop-in service. Whilst we provide a FREE service, our group relies solely on donations to keep going and ensures our volunteers are regularly highly trained, so donations are very welcome.

We offer a safe and comfortable space to access professional support with feeding your baby or little one as well as connecting with other local Mummas in your community. No need to book an appointment, you can simply just turn up and come back as often as you need the support, although we do recommend arriving by around 1pm in case it’s a busy session. We will always do our upmost to speak to and support everyone.

Lemon Drops is run by Laura Berkeley qualified Breastfeeding Counsellor, Childbirth Educator and Doula alongside her incredible team of Lemon Drops peer supporters every other Friday. Each team member has completed professional peer support training with Anna Le Grange at The Mindful Breastfeeding School, so you can be assured you are in safe, capable hands during your visit. Our team has a passion for supporting parents on the wild journey of parenthood & infant feeding with love, care and a smile. Our team members are also DBS checked & there is always at least 1 person who is first aid trained in attendance.

January: 2nd, 16th and 30th. February: 13th and 27th. March: 13th and 27th. April: 10th and 24th. May: 8th and 22nd. June: 5th and 19th. July: 3rd, 17th and 31st. August: 14th and 28th. September: 11th and 25th. October: 9th and 23rd. November: 6th and 20th. December: 4th and 18th.

Parking

There is free parking at the community hall, near master park & on nearby roads (often limited to an hour). There are also 2 car parks nearby that are a 5-10 minute walk in both Amy Road & the underground station car park.

Little ones

We do have some toys & books so feel free to bring little ones or siblings along with you if needed when accessing feeding support. Unfortunately, the team cannot be responsible for babies or children & we ask that you keep them close for health & safety. St Mary’s The_Space offers a wonderful FREE to attend group in the Oxted Community Hall called The Baby Space. It runs on Thursdays from 10.00am to 11.30am which is a wonderful way to meet other local parents & chat.

Urgent Support

If you are in need of urgent support or 1-2-1 support at home before a Friday session please contact Laura on 07878 99220 or via e mail laura@thelemontreebirth.co.uk
